Daniel Knüsli has 20 years’ experience in primary and reinsurance underwriting, predominantly in Casualty and across a broad geographical scope. He currently heads Swiss Re’s P&C Analytics and manages a global team of data science and business experts.
The team offers tangible, data-driven business insights that help Swiss Re clients grow their business, increase their profitability and enhance their efficiency.
Prior to that Daniel held various positions within Swiss Re in the Casualty line of business across various markets and regions, including most recently stints as Head Liability Center and as Senior Casualty Treaty Underwriter in the USA.
Daniel holds a bachelor’s in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of Rochester as well as an Executive MBA from the University of Berne.
Outside work, Daniel enjoys all kinds of endurance sports. He is a passionate skier and a Certified Ski Instructor.
