A chartered actuary since 1999 and a CERA member since 2019. Currently Head of Mobility at Helvetia-CASER. Previously, at the AXA Group, he served as Head of Life, Savings and Health for International and New Markets (2 years), Head of Risk at AXA Mexico (4 years), and Head of P&C and Health Actuarial at AXA Spain (6 years).
He was an associate professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid from 1997 to 2004, teaching Financial Mathematics and Investments, and at the University of Alcalá de Henares from 2004 to 2013, teaching Actuarial Mathematics I and II, Actuarial Modelling and Pension Schemes.
Previously worked as a consultant for various companies, including Towers Perrin-Tillinghast (2 years) and CGAA Consultores (8 years).
Holds a degree in Business Management from the Autonomous University of Madrid and a degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Alcalá de Henares. Lecturer on various master’s and specialised programmes (EOI, ICEA, CIFF, etc.). Member of the Spanish Actuarial Institute and member of its Board of Directors (Secretary General from January 2013 to 2015). He has collaborated with public bodies such as the Bank of Spain, the Insurance Supervisory Authority, the Ibero-American Social Security Organisation, etc., on the development of research and education programmes.
